Beach of La Pinède, Calvi
Close to the marina, the beach of the Balagne's capital is perfect for families. Near all amenities with shallow waters... the 5 km of beach should bring you sheer joy. Numerous clubs offer sailing and diving courses as well as watercraft rentals.

Beach of Sainte Restitude
This beach is also known as "Beach of Pain de Sucre" named after the thatched hut located there. Fairly small, the beautiful Sainte Restitude cove boasts numerous attractions: firstly, a splendid setting with a view of the Calvi citadel (especially at sunset) and less crowding. And the high-end hut and its restaurant offering sea specialties are simply outstanding.

Arinella Beach, Lumio
Small but easily accessible, Arinella beach in the Lumio commune is mainly known for its stunning setting and clear waters, where one can swim delightfully. It's a small sandy cove facing the Gulf of Calvi, famed for its sunsets. Part of it is occupied by the Matahari hut (private beach). The surroundings are notable with some rocks on both ends and crystal-clear water. Moreover, thanks to the free parking located above, it's easily accessible by car. In Lumio, near the pharmacy, head towards the sea.

Sant’Ambroggio Beach
Sant’Ambroggio beach is a stretch of fine sand, ensuring peaceful relaxation moments. Its turquoise and clear waters not only beckon for relaxing swims but also for underwater explorations with snorkel and mask. Conveniently located, it remains calm and serene even on windy days in Balagne. Further on, discover A Punta di Spanu, a natural treasure dotted with intimate little coves and waters sheltering breathtaking seabeds. A paddleboard ride or swim is highly recommended to fully appreciate its beauty.

Aregno Beach, Algajola
Highly popular among summer visitors, the vast Aregno beach stretches for about 2 km. Being easily accessible, it also boasts numerous restaurants for those wishing to take a gourmet break. The northern area of this beach is quieter and more preserved (with some small dunes). The area closest to the citadel is very busy in the summer. There are numerous free parking spaces along the beach.

Beach of Ghjunchitu
A beautiful beach surrounded by a wild scrubland, its crystal-clear waters and white sand invite relaxation and swimming. Limited crowds for the Balagne, even in high season, are also a significant advantage. Parking is available for a fee.
Approximately 500 meters of fine sand with scrubland along the edge. The environment is very pleasant, and the beach has moderate crowds even in peak season. On the right side, you can find some rocks and a beach bar with the rental of a few sun loungers.

Bodri Beach
Turquoise waters, a splendid setting, but paid parking. This beach will delight everyone except when the wind blows. Approximately 400 meters of fine sand, a lifeguard station (open during the summer), and a small snack bar make up this paradise.
Please note that dogs on a leash are now prohibited on this beach. It is also possible to practice naturism in the northern part of the beach (closest to Ile Rousse - please note, only in this area, away from the main beach).

Beach of Ile Rousse
Bordered by a promenade (Marinella), Napoleon Beach is close to the center of Ile Rousse with numerous restaurants and all amenities. Very pleasant, the crystal-clear waters of this beach attract tourists to Balagne.
The northern part of the site (Caruchettu Beach, with 300 meters of fine sand) is more secluded and should appeal to those who seek tranquility and relaxation.

Ostriconi Beach
Ostriconi Beach is classified as a "Grand Site pittoresque" (Grand Picturesque Site). This beautiful stretch of white sand offers sublime landscapes in a wild and majestic setting. Swimming is best avoided when the sea is rough, but you can enjoy a calm swim when the weather is serene! The end of the beach is frequented by naturists.
